About this site
Fans and Worshipers everywhere! – This is a spinoff site created to give my abstract art works a “home” separate from my original site, Under the Sun and Under the Moon (to be found in my Blogroll). That site contains mostly gardening and outdoor scenery and I felt that the abstract pieces didn’t quite fit the general subject matter. Decided to see how this works. I love WordPress.com, haven’t been publicly active here for a long time and just wanted to feel connected, and a part of things around here.
So. Enjoy! More strange, weird and colorful images coming ASAP… All images (current and forthcoming) are and will be created with Tierazon, Fractal Explorer, and Chaoscope, all free fractal and strange-attractor programs.
Final note for now: Don’t ask me for instructions how to make images like these. Most of the time I have no idea what I’m doing or what will come about. Sometimes I’m lucky and things develop that are quite beautiful even if I don’t know how it happened…other days it just seems everything insists on being ugly and it’s a bit discouraging. But with such programs as these, it’s “the thrill of the chase” that is so compelling. And the possibilities truly are endless…
Hey thanks for the comment on my blog! What can ya do about working a shit job, you know? I definitely understand about watching out for change…that adds up! My boyfriend and I keep a coin jar and every like six months or so we take it to a coinstar (we should just roll them, I know, but we are lazy and work too much to even care about all that) and it’s amazing. I feel like it’s almost like a free paycheck. Anyways…I gandered around your blog and it’s interesting…I’m not artistic at all but that doesn’t mean I can’t look at the work of those whom are blessed with the talent, right?
Keep on blogging!
I’m in your corner! It is nice to have artistic talent (and this isn’t my only blog, the other is found in my “blogroll,” that is my main site I spun this smaller one off of), it is soothing and keeps you from going gonzo bonkers in this harsh world we have to live in. During spare time (never enough of that, I know) I can truly lose myself either in fractal making or in working with my nature photos…that is when I can take a break away from looking after my elderly Mum and my two sweetheart kitties…and our bigass garden and etc. – Keep on bloggin’, I’ll be peeking in from time to time.
